Online Marketing Coaching

Okay, let’s address the elephant in the room: I’m a relationship coach. And this is a page about… marketing?

Well, there’s two things I want you to know: firstly, there’s a common thread that runs through all the work I do, and it’s that I help people who want to be more fully seen in the world. When I’ve got my relationship coach hat on, the context is personal relationships. As a marketing coach, the context is the wider world and your potential clients and customers.

The second thing is that I wouldn’t have been able to build my intimacy coaching practice the way I have without nine years’ of online marketing experience behind me. I’ve worked for startups and agencies, with clients big and small, across a range of SEO, content, and social media marketing projects.

I’ve learned a whole bunch on the way. If you’re up for it, I’d love to share some of it with you.

So why might you need a marketing coach?

  • You’ve been going a little while and you’re doing pretty well… but you know there’s more you could be doing with your marketing.
  • You’re feeling a bit swamped and you know you could be approaching your marketing in a much more efficient way, or even getting some of it automated – but you have no idea where to start or how to prioritise.
  • You’d love to learn some of the basics of SEO so that you can get your website ranking as highly as possible in Google.
  • Talking about what you do with potential customers feels awkward and icky, and you’d love for those conversations to feel easy, authentic, and consensual.
  • You’re up for getting stuck in yourself and learning as you go, and you need some guidance and accountability to support you.

If any of these sound familiar, marketing coaching might be a good fit for you.

How does marketing coaching work?

Here’s the thing: I don’t actually want to do a ton more marketing work myself. I’ve got plenty of that on my plate with my own business. But what I have learned from my intimacy coaching practice is that I love sitting down one-to-one and hashing things out on a call, offering guidance, and suggesting ideas and different ways of thinking about things.

So here’s what I’m proposing:

We meet once a week or fortnight for an hour online. We talk about where you’re stuck, what’s working, what isn’t, and where you’d like to be.

We look over your business and marketing as it is right now, and get clear on what forms of marketing and sales you’d be up for, and which you really don’t want to do (psst – you don’t have to use All The Socials if it wouldn’t feel good for you).

We come up with some ideas for things you could make a start on, and plan it out in a way that feels doable. I’ll teach you any skills or theory you’ll need, and recommend tools and other resources.

Between our calls, you agree to take some steps based on what we’ve covered. I’m available via email if there are quick things getting in the way that I can help with.

We check in each time we meet on how it’s going, and adjust as we go, always focusing on what would work best for you – so that we’re doing marketing that feels good.

(And as a bonus: if it turns out you’ve got some wonky mindset stuff that’s getting in the way, we might choose to focus on that too – working with unhelpful beliefs is a big part of what I do in my intimacy coaching practice.)

My specialist areas:

  • Finding potential clients and starting conversations
  • Consensual sales conversations that feel really good
  • Understanding SEO best practices – especially content audits, competitor research, keyword research, copywriting for SEO, reporting, and tracking progress
  • Creating a strategy and marketing plan
  • Email marketing and making best use of your list
  • Creating funnels that turn strangers into fans
  • Using social media in effective ways that also work for you

What we can use coaching calls for:

  • Brainstorming ideas
  • Talking you through principles, theory, and best practices
  • Accountability, goal-setting, checking in
  • Developing a strategy for your marketing efforts
  • Looking at mindset and beliefs that might be getting in the way
  • Creating a plan to fit your marketing efforts into your workload
  • Doing the work together
  • Sharing resources and tools

How much does it cost?

Sessions cost £75/hour. You can have as many or as few as you’d like – it might be that we meet once to get you on your way, or we meet over a longer period if you need some more support and accountability.

How do we get started?

The first step would be to shoot me an email letting me know you’d like to talk more about it. We’ll book in a short intro call to say hello and check it’s a good fit – I’ll ask you a few questions about where you’re at now and where you’d like to be. If it’s feeling good then we’ll pick a time and date for our first session, and make a start!
