I know you want to stay true to yourself in your relationships – without constantly bracing for rejection or second-guessing every word.

I know you want to feel deeply seen and understood – without the drain of proving your worth to people who can’t meet you.

And I know you want to feel more inner compassion and peace – even in the messy, everyday moments when your chest tightens before you even know why.

Here’s the truth:

You can have these things.

But you can’t have them by relying on someone else to offer you the acceptance and understanding you’re craving, while inside you’re still beating yourself up.

You can’t keep covertly seeking connection and understanding by being who you think others want you to be, while you’re working so hard to soften your edges and silence your truth.

You’ve gotta have your own back first.

And that’s why I created…

Becoming Your Greatest Ally

Because I want you to feel what it’s like to truly be on your own team:
To exhale in your own presence.
To sit with the hard stuff without spiralling or shutting down.
To meet your most tender parts with warmth instead of judgment.

I want you to feel unshakeably anchored in radical self-acceptance, even when the people around you can’t offer the comfort or reassurance you need.

And I want you to feel the quiet power of knowing you belong: to yourself, to your truth, and to something deeper than anyone else’s approval.

Join us for a tender and powerful parts work process to transform inner turmoil to deep self-compassion, so you can truly show up for yourself.

Who am I?

Ro Brown

Hi! I’m Ro (they/them). I’m a coach and BACP registered therapist who’s spent many years walking alongside people as they navigate the beautiful, messy terrain of intimacy and relationships. I love supporting folks in finding their way back to the quiet knowing inside – the inner wisdom that’s easy to lose touch with now and then.

My own relationship with myself continues to be a deep and ongoing process – one that keeps teaching me about wholeness, tenderness, and the courage it takes to really show up. I bring a calm, grounded presence, and I welcome whatever you’re carrying.

I also hold a deep respect for how trauma can shape our connections, and for the surprising ways growth can emerge, even in the midst of challenge.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you and being part of this shared space!

FAQs

What will this workshop involve?

I will be guiding you through a process using parts work (inspired by Internal Family Systems and Psychosynthesis), which will involve guided visualisation and journaling. There will be opportunities to connect and share with others in the group, but you don’t have to take part in this if you don’t want to.

Will there be a recording?

I do recommend coming live if you can, since there’ll be opportunities to share with other participants and feel part of a group committed to doing this work. However, the process I’ll guide you through is possible to do via a recording if that would suit you better, and I will send it out afterwards.

What will I need to bring?

A journal and a pen, any anything you need to make yourself comfortable. I recommend making sure you’ll have a quiet, private space.

Do I have to have my camera on, or share with the group?

No, you don’t! I’ll encourage everyone to switch their camera on at the beginning and end so that we can all see who we’re in this process together with, but if you’d rather not then you don’t have to. We’ll have time for sharing in breakout rooms and in the big group, and while this can be a really helpful way to process and integrate your experience for some, you know yourself best – and if you’d prefer to have quiet time to journal or sit with yourself, that’s perfectly fine too.

Is this safe if I’m living with the effects of trauma?

We will spend time at the start with some resourcing practices so that you have some internal support if you need it. I’ll be giving options throughout, so you only need to go as deeply as you feel willing to. And I’ll be encouraging you to stay within a really comfortable, safe zone – lasting change happens when we’re relaxed and open to it, so I’m not about pushing through discomfort in these spaces! That said, if you are feeling particularly tender at the moment, or if your capacity for internal reflection and holding yourself feels quite limited, I recommend downloading the recording instead and coming back to it when you’re feeling more resourced.
